For the production of softgel capsules, gelatin is melted in gelatin preparation tanks. Electric heaters mounted in the base of the tanks heat a water-filled jacket attached to the tanks to pre-set temperatures. Paddle impellers stir the solution while vacuum is applied to remove air during the melting process. 

We have tanks to meet your needs whether you're producing standard animal gelatin or vegetable gelatin. Gelatin melting tanks are made to provide more torque and higher temperatures because is more viscous than typical animal gelatin.
